AlertManager * – Check-related fraud detection and prevention system

The AlertManager fraud detection and prevention system, a component of the ImageCenter Image Capture solution, reduces check-related fraud and the inherent financial losses and damaged reputations by enabling credit unions to automatically identify deposited transit checks that fail clearance at the payee financial institution, fraudulent payments on line-of-credit loans, and suspect ATM transactions. AlertManager provides links to established fraud networks that automatically screen for bad checks, final return item decisions, known negative account data, and counterfeit item data. Throughout the day, desktop messages and warnings about possible fraudulent transactions are generated.
